Through a longitudinal study involving in-depth interviews with 46 Venezuelan immigrants in both Chile and Argentina, half of whom were interviewed before and half during the pandemic, we observed the stressors imposed by COVID-19 containment policies. Compared to both NT and MT groups, patients classified as ET reported significantly higher scores in the re-experiencing domain, along with poorer sleep quality, lower sleep efficiency, more instances of waking after sleep onset, and a later mid-sleep point (p<0.005).
